Startup Basics Podcast
Startup Basics is for entrepreneurs launching tech companies but who are not fluent in “startup.” Hosted by Beta Boom’s founding partners, Sergio and Kimmy, the podcast covers common topics and questions that many founders are afraid to ask or think they should know.
Startup Basics covers subjects such as: Do I need a technical co-founder, and how do I find one? What do investors look for in early-stage startups? If you don’t know the difference between a “seed round” and an “A round” or think a “cliff” is a steep rock face, chances are that this podcast is for you.
Beta Boom’s bootcamp is a two-day interactive, online learning experience for individuals and teams in the earliest stages of launching a tech startup. We cover topics such as:
- What to expect as a tech entrepreneur
- Coming up with the right idea
- Validating market need
- Building a prototype
- Getting your first customers
- What is product-market fit and how to get it
- Getting feedback and improving your solution
- When do you need funding, how much and what types
- Pitching investors and angel funders
The bootcamp costs $99 and is open to anyone and takes place on the last Friday and Saturday each month.
